Due to event interruptions, the two exploration player plot logs currently underway are being wrapped. The groups involved learned the following:

Back in July, Raine’s group explored a Pokémon nesting ground located inside an old ruin. After putting together an old mural and exploring some damaged documents, they determine the facility used to be a weather station. They take an old map away with them; it’s been eaten away by time and what looks like water damage, but there’s a road leading southeast of Union past the Coastal Valley with what might be a settlement marked on the map. This settlement’s name cannot be made out, but may begin with a P, B, or a D. What might be an “e” or a “c” features about halfway through the name.

In August, Yuuna’s group encountered some sick Rhydon in the Great Crater. They will successfully lead these Rhydon back to Union, where the Pokémon will begin to recover. The sickness cannot be determined by analyzing the Rhydon, but one of them does have a piece of some sort of corrosive black substance stuck between the rocky plates of its skin. The exploration group also discovered the area surrounding the Great Crater is blighted, reaching out into the Obsidian Flats all around. This area does not, however, appear to be spreading.

As a result of this exploration, the Great Crater is now open for bonding.

Alright everyone, it's that time of the month: Event time! And we're putting things up a little bit earlier than usual to give everyone more time to think things over.

This event is going to involve Mewtwo and several other surprise guests. It will run from August 13th to August 20th, and will be accompanied by mod run logs.

This event is a little bit different than previous events in that we will not be allowing groups to form in advance. Everyone signs up individually, so no partners either! ICly this is going to be a little bit of a surprise for everyone involved, and the reasons for everyone's nightmares are very soon going to become clear. This event will feature danger, surprises, and opportunities for both combatants and non-combatants to make a very large impact on the game world.

Signups will run from now until the 13th, 11:30 EST at which point groups will be randomized!

Please be aware that if you sign up for a group, you need to be replying at least once every 24 Hours or you will be skipped, and you need to limit your combat related actions to 2 per tag. Additionally we ask that you keep mod NPC actions in mind even if you miss a turn. If something attacks you, react to it!

With this, the battle with Kyurem is defeated. Any ongoing logs should be concluding within the next few tags, if they have not already. Now, all that is left is for Union to pick up the pieces of their lives and determine where to go next.

There will be a few more posts going up in the next few days concerning the recovery efforts and where Union goes from here, but for all intents and purposes the major event is concluded and lives will go back to normal - so much as they are able.

The Signal Tower will be highly limited availability to for the next week. During this time period, communication will work but Intensive Searches will be unavailable outside of the Forest, Old City and Dream World. Communication will be restored on 2/7 at midnight. This is due to the damaged communication and a temporary city ordinance caused by the concern that the Elite Four might return and attack those who stray too far from the city. This ordinance extends even to members of organizations like the Rangers and individuals from other cities. This will lift on February 14th

As the battle is fierce, there is a chance some characters may be injured. Since this is the first major log we are introducing this mechanic, we will allow you to choose if your character was injured or not, but we encourage you to do so if it is appropriate based on the log outcome. In later logs, you may not have the choice, depending on what happens to your character. Injury works as follows:

-An injured character cannot gain levels or bond with Pokemon for 1-4 weeks, depending on the severity.
-If desired, an injured character may either bond with a Pokemon or gain the standard amount of levels during a week. That will extend the duration of their injury by 1 additional week.
-If desired, an injured character may bond with a Pokemon AND gain standard levels, use an Intensive Search, or use an Intensive Training. Under any of these circumstances, that will extend the duration of the injury by an additional 2 weeks.
-If the injury length ever reaches 8 weeks, the character will become badly injured, and will be unable to do anything until they reach 4 weeks of injury, at which point they will return to being injured and will be able to act as above.
