Elite Four Aftermath - OOC Notes
With this, the battle with Kyurem is defeated. Any ongoing logs should be concluding within the next few tags, if they have not already. Now, all that is left is for Union to pick up the pieces of their lives and determine where to go next.
There will be a few more posts going up in the next few days concerning the recovery efforts and where Union goes from here, but for all intents and purposes the major event is concluded and lives will go back to normal - so much as they are able.
The Signal Tower will be highly limited availability to for the next week. During this time period, communication will work but Intensive Searches will be unavailable outside of the Forest, Old City and Dream World. Communication will be restored on 2/7 at midnight. This is due to the damaged communication and a temporary city ordinance caused by the concern that the Elite Four might return and attack those who stray too far from the city. This ordinance extends even to members of organizations like the Rangers and individuals from other cities. This will lift on February 14th
As the battle is fierce, there is a chance some characters may be injured. Since this is the first major log we are introducing this mechanic, we will allow you to choose if your character was injured or not, but we encourage you to do so if it is appropriate based on the log outcome. In later logs, you may not have the choice, depending on what happens to your character. Injury works as follows:
-An injured character cannot gain levels or bond with Pokemon for 1-4 weeks, depending on the severity.
-If desired, an injured character may either bond with a Pokemon or gain the standard amount of levels during a week. That will extend the duration of their injury by 1 additional week.
-If desired, an injured character may bond with a Pokemon AND gain standard levels, use an Intensive Search, or use an Intensive Training. Under any of these circumstances, that will extend the duration of the injury by an additional 2 weeks.
-If the injury length ever reaches 8 weeks, the character will become badly injured, and will be unable to do anything until they reach 4 weeks of injury, at which point they will return to being injured and will be able to act as above.
