Lucas goes to see Maya at the Kurain School on occasion for training mostly just to hang out but training definitely happens sometimes! As it happens, he could definitely use Dark resistance tips, being a Psychic.

I don't know what tips Kuzuryuu actually has to offer, but since Lucas is a kid--and a sweet kid at that--Kuzuryuu will at least do his best by him!
