Well, Rei has a noble father who she had a falling out with, and when she was a kid it's possible they met. She's not super...sociable? But she's a newbie trainer who'd probably listen to him if he had advice.

I could also *possibly* go along with an arranged marriage from her father, waaaay down the line. I wouldn't, ideally, like it to go into full on romance, but a "we don't wanna" sort of thing I think might could be fun?

Asemu would be happy to dispense advice! He's been at it for a while now, and he's one of those people who's always willing to help.

As for the arranged marriage thing...sorry, I should have mentioned that I was looking for an actual love interest. I'm afraid I'm not terribly interested in one that ends with a termination of the engagement.

Hey that's fine, I tossed it out there in case it might interest you! I just can't justify Rei with all her trouble with romance marrying a guy (or a girl at this point, I generally play her as bisexual with a preference towards girls).

I'm perfectly happy with general trainer/friendship related CR. Friends are really what I'm looking for! And the childhood connection might make her be a little more friendly with Asemu.

Awesome! Asemu needs more friends himself. The childhood connection would also make him more eager to help, since he puts forth extra effort to help people he knows. Though that's not to say he won't help strangers -- just ask Rise.
