Character Name: Jade Curtiss
Blurb: A reformed mad scientist now serving in the Rangers. Playful and (somewhat sadistically) teasing on the outside, extremely detached on the inside. Emotions what are they?

He usually doesn't appear concerned about anything, but in serious-serious situations his whole demeanour changes: he's scarily cold and practical, and would happily use extreme methods to take care of things.

AU Info: He was originally a scientist working on Pokemon research and weaponry development. Around 10 years ago, he suddenly quit and joined the Rangers, and rose up through their ranks to become a senior member of the Survey Corps.

He's also part of the prestigious Curtiss Ranger family, which has some ties to minor nobility through marriages and alliances. They're quite devout, although Jade doesn't share those views.

Currently he's decided to undertake some (possibly illegal) research on Enlightened along with William Flemming.

Pre-Existing CR: Rangers! Researchers who were around when he was still doing his thing! He's also found not infrequently in bars/the library/the university, so there might be opportunities there too.

Looking for: I'd really like to continue developing his existing CR! I'd also like for him to make more connections with other Rangers. New CR would be loved! It doesn't necessarily have to be positive - he can be quite mocking so there's potential for friction. Just let me know if you want CR with him and we can brainstorm a scenario together!

I'd especially love someone he can be friends with; someone who won't mind him poking fun at them, and would maybe work with him to tease other people too!

Potential Connections: See pre-existing CR. Also, since he's looking into Enlightened now, he'll probably be watching Enlightened train and noting down their abilities, and maybe approaching them to ask them some questions!

Other Info: He has trouble getting some of his Pokemon to evolve because they never have enough happiness :'(

I'm completely canonblind but I read his app and I feel like they'd make for interesting an interesting pair! I'm not sure if it could come up, but if Braig's interest in TeVo/Calderan technology pop up, it would definitely catch Jade's attention.

Any ideas on how they could meet up? A bar, maybe, or working together during some future event?

I'm 90% Tales canonblind myself, but yeah, caught my eye... heh, Braig's a little too interested in TeVo. Cough, cough. But he loves looking into this stuff on his own time anyway...

Bars are always an option for him. He's not getting involved in the valkyrie thing past the one thread he's got, so an event meetup would have to be a way off?

Yuuna's exploration-minded/a possible Ranger recruit who's more than happy to tease (and could help play pranks on other people), but with maybe enough sensitive subjects that there could be a little friction between them. This could be a possible thing?

Eeee that sounds excellent! If she seems reasonably competent, Jade would definitely encourage her to join the Rangers - he's of the opinion that they need more hands onboard. If not, maybe they could explore together at some stage!
