Heart Swap Event Start!
At precisely 12:00 AM Saturday morning, whether they’re awake or not, characters will undergo a startling metamorphosis. Those who are still awake will feel a strange tingling and their senses will dull momentarily. The feeling will quickly fade, and they will find themselves changed.
This effect applies only to those who have signed up for a switch. It will last for exactly 1 week, after which on 12:00 AM Saturday the 20th, the same feeling will overtake the characters and they will return to their normal form.
This effect even extends to NPCs within Union, so the characters won’t be the only ones being extremely confused, the city itself will be cast into an extremely confused state and not a whole lot of work will get done for the first day or two. Obviously it’s not universal, but it seems to have hit perhaps 70% of the population so it’s fairly widespread.
The change is an actual body metamorphosis, you will still be wearing the same clothes you were wearing before. Any physical changes that you incur while you are swapped (haircuts, injuries, etc) will remain on your body when you return to normal (in the case of haircuts, any hair cut will be removed from your head when you return. This can render you completely bald upon returning to your normal form). While in the other form, you will have access to all of the abilities the person you have swapped with has, and have access to none of your own abilities. Your Pokemon will generally be able to tell that it’s you, but they may be very confused at first.
Players who haven’t signed up already may still do so, sign-ups can be found here. Sign-ups will be accepted throughout the week.
There will be no open IC posts, players are encouraged to post and respond with their characters.
