Area Unlock and Raid Planning!

Hey guys! As noted here, the people of Union are once again being dispatched to investigate mysterious occurrences! This time, to the northeast in the Rolling Plains, which are now open for exploration and bonding! Consider it about a week's worth of travel time to cross the plains, but for the sake of RP, the next part of the event will be happening sooner in real time. As always, please post all bonding threads in the Map Post. Bonding will be happening as normal this week.

Additionally, we'd like to use this OoC post to organize. More immediately, raids will be happening both near Union and within the Plains. If you guys can get together a group of at least 3, the mods will thread out some of these attacks with you. This is an unofficial sort of thing and we won't be monitoring it; you can simply post with your group to the log that will be going up tomorrow, and we'll respond when we see a group. The header for making plans in this section will be titled Raids, and you can respond directly there to announce that you're looking for a group and so on and so forth. If you can't get a group together, there will be a randomization option that will close July 21st. You can also just handwave that your character was mugged if that's something you prefer to RP.

I don't see them being able to pull off "helpless totally-not-a-trap travelers" very well. It looks like all three have fliers though; maybe an aerial survey would be worthwhile?

That could work. So they would be tracking down the perpetrators rather than trying to draw them out, then?
