UPCOMING EVENTS AND HOLIDAYS
The following will be taking place over the month of June only, and may or may not be accompanied with a mod-run log. These include game-wide events, player plots and holidays celebrated around the map. Participation is encouraged but by no means required.

OPERATION: GIGAS FREEDOM
June 6th - June 11th

The people of Union have conferred amongst themselves and voted to attempt to free the mighty Gods trapped within Gigas. This rescue will not go easily, however, and may come at a price - the price of being perceived as attacking the Gigan capital and, potentially, inciting a war. Much will depend on how the rescuers go about their mission and its ultimate results.

THE DAY OF FIRE
June 19th

Caldera has once again extended a hand to other cities for their celebration of the summer solstice. Traditional activities include the Throwing of Colors (tossing colored powder in the air), the consumption of far too much spicy food, the imbibing of far too many alcoholic drinks, and the wearing of far too few pieces of clothing. These god-filled, uncertain times might need a little more levity than ever before, so forget just how much everything’s gone to heck for a day and just have fun.

ONGOING EVENTS
These mini events have no active expiration date, and will continue until they are resolved, and may or may not have a lasting impact on the game as a whole. These mini-events can be initiated by any players in the game through a plot request (submitted here), and may garner the attention of an event-specific NPC, so be on guard!

UNITED
After the attacks on Union, the city works to rebuild. Players are encouraged to incorporate this into their posts.

MAP EXPAND
With the recent signal expansion, there are still many areas yet to be explored! Trainers seeking new discoveries or experiences are encouraged to check them out!

CURRENT AREAS UNEXPLORED: Frozen Delta, Western Coast, The Great Crater

SWARM WATCH!
A swarm will appear in a location for two weeks. Pokémon in a swarm act as an Ultra Common to that area and scale with their level. Requests for a swarm Pokémon can be made in the Map Post for that particular week. Players are not required to make a post in the swarm area, but are highly encouraged. Shiny chaining does apply to swarms, and works the same way as in other areas. Swarm Pokémon are not eligible for blurbs and will follow the general behavior provided.

SPIRITOMB | SANCTUARY
Level 20
The energy in the air is practically buzzing with grim determination as the Union Alliance prepares to instigate a covert operation. Drawn to this are scores and scores of Spiritombs, all raring to go and be a part of whatever trouble is on the horizon. They practically beg to be bonded with, and vibrate with excitement. They crave conflict, and this promises to be truly massive...

CHIMCHAR | CALDERA
Level 10
The Day of Fire has stirred up a local tribe of Chimchar. The simian Pokemon flock to the celebrations and run absolutely wild. They cannot be caged, they cannot be controlled, and they are everywhere. They want your thing, so they’ll take it, they want that thing over there, so they’ll take that, and heck, they don’t like how that thing looks so down it goes. Naughty is the name of the game, here.
