Welcome to March’s Brave New(s) World post! Here you’ll find a collection of information concerning events planned and ongoing throughout the month, as well as March-specific OOC announcements, swarms and other information and important links!

UPCOMING EVENTS AND HOLIDAYS
The following will be taking place over the month of March only, and may or may not be accompanied with a mod-run log. These include game-wide events, player plots and holidays celebrated around the map. Participation is encouraged but by no means required.

CITADEL SPORTS SEASON
March 10-Ongoing
With spring upon the land, the various tribes of Citadel gather together to celebrate the end of winter with games and athletic competitions of all types. Common activities include footraces, tug-of-war, soccer, and other displays of athletic prowess. There will not be a mod-run log for this, however players are encouraged to mention or include such games in posts and logs of their own.

EVENT TBA
April 2-April 19
A larger game-wide event will occur during this timeframe that will build upon what occurs with the current event.

ONGOING EVENTS
These mini events have no active expiration date, and will continue until they are resolved, and may or may not have a lasting impact on the game as a whole. These mini-events can be initiated by any players in the game through a plot request (submitted here), and may garner the attention of an event-specific NPC, so be on guard!
UNITED
After the attacks on Union, the city works to rebuild. A number of posts will be made over the course of this month that will deal with the fallout of the event and Union’s response.

WHAT LIES BEYOND
February 27 - March 5
Union trainers have been invited to treat with Gigas, as well as explore ancient ruins uncovered by Refuge and scout around Glacier for more information on their attackers. This event is ongoing and will conclude March 5th at midnight.

MAP EXPAND
With the recent signal expansion, there are still many areas yet to be explored! Trainers seeking new discoveries or experiences are encouraged to check them out!
CURRENT AREAS UNEXPLORED: Frozen Delta, Western Coast, The Great Crater

SWARM WATCH!
A swarm will appear in a location for two weeks. Pokémon in a swarm act as an Ultra Common to that area and scale with their level. Requests for a swarm Pokémon can be made in the Map Post for that particular week. Players are not required to make a post in the swarm area, but are highly encouraged. Shiny chaining does apply to swarms, and works the same way as in other areas. Swarm Pokémon are not eligible for blurbs and will follow the general behavior provided.

Tyrogue | CITADEL
Level 10
It’s sports season on the great plains surrounding Citadel, and the Tyrogue are out in force! They’re all complete and utter hooligans, stomping feet and kicking balls around in anticipation of the various games about to be played. Some of them have taken to making their own berry drinks which function more or less like alcohol, and boy do they leave a mess when they leave!

Mareep | UNION
Level 6
In the wake of the various trials and tribulations faced by Union and it’s allies, a large number of Mareep have moved into Union. They are rather intent on coming in and donating their wool to help with the recovery effort. Everyone needs pillows, right? Well now you too can have your very own Mareep fluff pillow! Or a Mareep that wants to donate.
