Hey all! The poll for the first three Mega Stones available in Union has now closed! The winners are:

Gardevoirite
Charizardite X
aaaaand a three way tie between Blastoisinite, Absolite, and Lucarionite!

After rolling the RNG, the winner here is Lucarionite!

These stones will be available for reverse Engineering effective immediately. As with the games, only one Mega Stone may be used on a team at a time.

Question! Are the items to hold said megastones required to be made separately?

The upgrade to use Mega Stones was a global upgrade to all characters, all you need is the Mega Stone to achieve Mega Evolution with a Pokemon.
