Blurb: Fighting/Ice type Master of Training from Union. Loves martial arts and steak. Terrified of Ghost and Bug types.
AU Info: Chie's BNW AU strongly resembles what she's like in the Persona Arena games, in that she's decided what she wants to do with her life and doesn't have such an inferiority complex anymore. Swords of the Savior have replaced police as far as her career is concerned, and instead of getting down on herself when she meets someone impressive, she puts them on a pedestal and is prone to a bit of hero worship. So slightly different reactions than canon there.
Pre-Existing CR: She's been in the Swords of the Savior for about a year and two months, so that's the easiest way.
Looking for: Friends, rivals, training partners, small-time criminals she can chase around town.
Potential Connections: Besides Swords HQ, Chie is a frequent diner at many of Union's restaurants. Especially the ones that use imported meat from Citadel.
Other Info: Nothing I can think of, really.
Anything Else?: No!

Blurb: Fairy/Dark type Child of the Verdant Forest. Not!elf girl from a clan of nomads. Cheerful, bubbly, and bad with subtext. Uses blood magic and makes bad life choices.
AU Info: For those familiar with the Dragon Age games and the history of the Dalish, replace 'Tevinter' with 'Gigas' and 'Second Blight / Exalted March of the Dales' with 'the Cataclysm.' The BNW!Dalish were conquered and enslaved 1000 years ago by the ancestors of modern day Gigas, broke free some centuries later, re-settled in a green valley, and then lost their second homeland when the Pokemon rose up.
As for Merrill specifically, she was thrown out of her clan when she made a blood pact with one of the many Spiritomb that had been imprisoned by her people ages ago in exchange for the lost history of her people. It was lying, of course, and when she unsealed it later it tried to eat her, but she managed to beat it back and keep it bound to its Keystone. The new bargain is that it will help her until she dies, and then it can claim her body. They're still bound together via Merrill's blood, and the Dark half of her typing comes from this bargain, as does her blood magic.
Pre-Existing CR: Merrill is originally from outside Union, so you'd have to be Dalish to have known her from before she came here.
Looking for: All kinds of CR from Sanctuary, given her unique situation as concerns magic and whatnot. Otherwise, just about anything else is fine too.
Potential Connections: Merrill is a member of the Seekers, so anyone who's also a member has probably at least heard of her if not met her personally. She goes on a lot of field missions. Also, anyone who spends a lot of time in the library.
Other Info: Merrill doesn't know what the words 'subtext' or 'metaphor' mean and will likely interpret almost everything you say as literally as possible. Also, she sometimes slips into Dalishspeak and will say words you've never heard before.
Anything Else?: Nope!

Blurb: Water/Dragon Master of Evolution. Current head of the Tycoon noble family. Super moeface.
AU Info: In this AU, the Tycoon family is one of the noble families of Union. Lenna's father, Alexander Highwind Tycoon, is a retired Ranger and former member of the Council before he heard vague portents of doom on the wind and left in the middle of the night without telling Lenna where he went. All she knows is he headed westerly on his Dragonite.
Lenna's eventual goal is to track him down and bring him home, but he's outside of Warp Band range, so she's had to bite back the urge to run into uncertain danger herself until it expands out far enough. Until then, she's holding down the home front, which mostly takes the form of continuing the family tradition of being involved in charity work of various stripes.
Without an AU Bartz around to push her into adventures and with her responsibilities as the last Tycoon in Union, Lenna hasn't developed the same sense of adventure and stays in the city most of the time. She's exceptionally kind, but not terribly worldly, and it's fairly easy to deceive her. Case in point: she assumed that Sanctuary would negotiate in good faith and not try to twist words to their benefit. She means well, though, really.
Pre-Existing CR: Any nobles would probably have dealt with the Tycoon family somehow. Lenna's father was pretty famous in the Rangers back in the day for riding a Dragonite into the field and being a huge badass, and her mother before her was deeply involved in the same sorts of charity work Lenna does. Any recipients of said charity may also know her, as Lenna tries to get out among the populace of Union and not just sit in her fancy mansion all day.
Looking for: Anything, really. Friends among the noble classes are always great, political rivals who disagree with Lenna's outlook or want to undermine her efforts could be fun, people to move into the big lonely empty mansion with her to keep her company would be amazing. And obviously, anyone who apped in an AU Faris would earn my undying love.
Potential Connections: Pretty much just nobles.
Other Info: Lenna's been working for some time to improve the quality of life for the poor of Union as well as to help people moving to Union from other places - especially refugees fleeing from elsewhere. Feel free to assume if you like that your character has received some form of assistance from her at some point if they're just starting out and would be inclined to accept such. She's currently working on a more permanent sort of establishment to accomplish this goal with Martin, but it's in the planning phase at the moment.
Anything Else?: Nooooope
