Sanctuary Event End!
The Sanctuary event has officially concluded! With the majority of the logs ending in success, the people of Union and their allies were able to drive Gigas out of the city. However, in the process, they discovered a grave secret that the rebels of Sanctuary had hidden when they first requested help. Under the oppressive yoke of Gigas, the people of Sanctuary had begun research into twisted, dark arts: the transformation of humans into puppets to control. While the collective civilizations of the world struggle to decide what to do with the magi of Sanctuary, the people of Union, perhaps, have learned that the world is not as black and white as they would like it to be.
If your threads have not fully concluded and you wish to continue, the mods will thread until they reach a satisfactory end. However, from this point on, you may resume normal IC posting. The ongoing political situation in Sanctuary will not reach a conclusion very quickly; for the moment, the status quo is uncertainty.
With the rescue of Sanctuary, applications for residents of this magical city are now open. Due to the heavy workload, we will not be able to have the full information for Sanctuary up tonight, but effective immediately, two new types of Enlightened are applicable to the game: the Sanctuary-unique Child of Knowledge Unbound and their experimentation subjects, the Homunculi. Information on these Enlightened types and information on the city will go up in our Enlightened and Outside Civilizations info pages within the next 48 hours.
Finally, for their help, everyone who participated in the event will receive an award of one Enhanced Item from the people of Sanctuary. These items will largely be magic-based but you may determine their exact effects. Please post their descriptions below. Additionally, as more and more Enhanced Items are accumulated, we are introducing a limit of three active Enhanced Items at one time, though you may switch them around in separate logs.
