Character Name: Apollo Justice
Blurb: Low-ranked Sword of the Savior. He tends to be a little too serious and a little too loud, but he means well.

AU Info: instead of dedicating his life to finding the truth, apollo's helping out his fellow man by keeping the faith. he hasn't been able to do much since he got his commanding officer arrested for being involved in Shady Disappearances, but that isn't stopping him from making his own path his own way.

as of this moment i figure he's trying to make sure nothing's getting too out of hand with this whole soulfasting business while doing his usual duties and patrols.

he is ALSO trying to figure out how to take care of his newly bonded pokemon. he's never had any before, so if you see him around the daycare or the training dojos, you should definitely bother him.

Pre-Existing CR: um, i think healthepot's player mentioned that apollo's probably seen him around? but that might be it for pre-existing. apollo doesn't really go out of his way to talk to people very often.

Looking for: new friends, rivals, criminals to catch, anything really. he's pretty lonely.

Potential Connections: apollo often frequents the agnostos temple or the university's library when he does wander out from his tiny apartment in the industrial district. he does do patrolling so he can potentially meet anyone, really, but he's most likely going to be professional and brief.

Other Info: i work during the week til closing. there's been a lot of downtime lately so you might be getting mostly phone tags

Probably not, actually. This Jinxie's a lot less overtly superstitious as concerns ghosts since they are a demonstrable thing that live in the streets and can be seen by everyone. She's still heavily involved with the spiritual community, but her personal superstitions tend to have more to do with charms, fortune telling, and that kind of stuff than revolving around Pokemon themselves, with the notable exception of Honchkrow and Ninetales (the AU stand-ins for Tenma Taro and the Amazing Nine-Tails). She's also related to Maya Fey as her younger cousin from a branch family of the main Fey line, and Papa is still around as an NPC who takes care of political stuff in Ninetales Vale while Maya's busy being spiritual leader.

that is true! no alderman murder case so apollo isn't used to getting slapped in the face with charms yet, if that's still a thing

apollo is actually bonded with a murkrow, if you wanted to roll with that somehow for their first meeting. idk how to go about that though-- is the legend more or less the same, just with pokemon instead of the demons?

i would like for apollo to hang out with people from ninetales vale since he still has a bit of a bias towards ghost pokemon. ghosts unnerve him because he hasn't had a lot of exposure to them yet, and i'd like for him to get more familiar with the idea. it'd be some really fun character development.

The legend as I've chosen to present it in BNW is basically a big-ass Honchkrow attacked Jinxie's family's ancestors 500 years ago when the Pokemon rose up, and they were saved by a benevolent Ninetales that drove it off. They still call the Honchkrow 'Tenma Taro' and half of the name survives as the family name, etc.

She's pretty superstitious about the legend and got herself a Ninetales a while back that she pampers and treats like it's a god on earth, and would probably faint if confronted with an actual Honchkrow. Murkrow I've been saying are okay just because it's a starter and she'd be passing out all the time if that were the case.

Notably, she had a nightmare about the Tenma Taro thing during the event, and Lux helped her through it in a way that will probably result in Jinxie starting to let go of that extreme reaction just a little. Like anything, it will take time. But if Apollo wants to get used to ghosts, Jinxie can absolutely help him out with that.
