Right, Sync's on the advance party, and he has evolved, so he'll be wearing his trademark(such as the one in his icons) have masked PKMN, and wearing a long coat tailored for his wings. He's also very likely to be part of the aggression group if they get a go at things.

Also if your name is like Orion or Asch or some other lame name he will pretend not to know you and/or make you swear never to tell a soul because he's going back to his family like a good brother after this settles down.
