Hey guys! Wighty here.
I've written a lot for this community in the past two years or so, but I think this is the most difficult entry I've ever had to write. As noted in tonight's announcements, I will be leaving the mod team, effective immediately, and leaving the game. I apologize immensely to all of you for the abruptness and the lack of anything resembling notice; I am so very sorry that I will be leaving threads unfinished and plots half-complete.
This project was conceived in late 2013, and Void, Sheepy, and I began the game together in January 2014. From the very beginning, it was something near and dear to my heart. It was so wonderful to see people falling in love with our creation, choosing to invest their time and energy into something we had given life, adding to it and expanding upon it in their own unique way. It was never a very big game, but that was never a detriment to us. We were always a community who cared for each other and helped one another grow. I came to know and love each of the characters who entered the game and their respective players as well. Though I'll be departing, it will be with so many more friends than when I began - amazing players, amazing writers, amazing friends. From running threads to creating blurbs, it always gave me the greatest pleasure to see all of you excited and happy about what we had to offer. It has always been an honor and a joy to moderate this game for you, and I hope all of you, too, have enjoyed and appreciated our time together.
The decision I made was an extremely difficult one, and it breaks my heart to have to leave. I've loved every moment I've spent here, I've loved everything about this experience, and I will continue to hope and pray for the success of this game even after I'm gone. I know that there are more exciting things to come in the future, and I know that there are plenty more adventures to experience in this world we've created together. More than anything, I would love to see this game continue to grow and succeed. Please continue to look forward to bigger and better things.
So for the last time... goodnight and good luck! I hope you'll all keep in touch. One day, I hope we'll play together again.
