The following characters have not filled out this month's activity check and have been removed from the game:

Garen Crownguard
Hajime Hinata
Kotori Minami
Minato Arisato
Natalia L.K. Lanvaldear

If you believe there has been an error, please comment here. These characters may be applied for again by the same players on April 1st if they have not been reapplied in the meantime and provided they have not been repeatedly failing AC.

As a reminder, if you have taken a strike this month, you must pass the next two subsequent activity checks and will not be permitted to hiatus for two months.

The following characters are on Strike:
Usagi Tsukino (March 1, April 1 ACs)
Estelle Bright (March 1, April 1 ACs)
Char Aznable (March 1, April 1 ACs)
Mari Mochizuki (March 1, April 1 ACs)
Kaido (March 1, April 1 ACs)
Umi Sonoda (April 1, May 1 ACs)
Kyoko Sakura (April 1, May 1 ACs)
Princess Mikotsu (April 1, May 1 ACs)

Additionally, we’re going to be making some revisions to our Activity Check rules. The intent behind our Activity check is and always has been twofold. One, we want to maintain a baseline requirement of play for remaining in the game, which we feel is important to both the reputation of the game and to ensure characters others might want to play are not held indefinitely by people who are not truly playing the game. Second, we want to use it as a vehicle to ensure players are active in the game, taking part in the day-to-day play and interacting with each other.

We have noticed over the course of the game that there have been some instances where we’ve seen a loophole or borderline case we’ve been forced to make a ruling on. This has created a lack of clarity as to what the rules actually were, they’ve become in our opinion a bit of a patchwork and we’ve fielded a number of questions on what they actually mean which is confusing both to the players and even to us as mods. Our intent is to bring the new rules in line with what we think they should be.

The biggest change is that posts will themselves no longer qualify for activity. This is a big change and it is not one we make lightly. Since our AC is designed to be relatively easy for anybody who is actively playing in the game, we are loathe to make it more difficult. Unfortunately, the rules as written have allowed for some characters to comfortably maintain presence in the game without actually being an active member of it. The new requirements will simply require a total of 10 comments with at least two separate characters. Making a post is still encouraged, as it remains by far and away the easiest way to make activity. Also of note, we are officially ruling that activity with NPCs will not be considered. Since Activity intended to keep people interacting with each other, interacting with NPCs we felt was not appropriate for Activity Requirements. As always, we will continue to reward interaction with NPCs in other ways, typically via plot rewards.

The new rules will apply for the next Activity Check, which will be posted on April 1st. If you have any questions about the new rules, please feel free to ask here!

Activity consists of the following:

- Two threads that, combined, consist of 10 or more comments in a thread from your character, played off of two different characters; or
- A thread in a log post consisting of 10 or more comments from your character, played off of two different characters, not including Non-Player Characters (NPCs)
- Acceptable threads must contain at least 3 comments by the your character

Dates of activity posted must be from a time period consisting of dates between:
- The first day of the activity cycle month through the last day of the month; or
- The first day of the next month through the fourteenth day of the next month

Posts that count toward activity or half activity:
- Threads in an in character post posted to the main community consisting of at least 3 comments by the person posting activity
- Approved shop and/or organization threads or Secret Base threads posted in a character's journal may only be used for 5 of the required 10 comments.

Posts that do not count toward activity or half activity:
- In character contact post threads do not count toward monthly activity
- Pokemon catch-all threads do not count toward monthly activity
- Threads used in a previous activity check do not count toward monthly activity
