Hello all! My name is Zac and as you can see here, I am bringing to this game Matthias of Redwall! Or Union, as is the case here. XD

As with his hero, he was once a mouse and a mouse of peace at that, but circumstances involving rats and sieges thrust him towards the ways of a warrior! Here...there were less sieges and rats, but he was a young man of peace who couldn't hold back his sense of justice any longer with the passing of that very same hero, and so you have a (relatively) new member of the Swords of the Savior! Who may or may not be on the lookout for that hero of his now that he's heard of his return.

That said, I'm super excited to join this game and I'm looking forward to many a fun shenanigan with the lot of you.

Upcoming Event Announcements

Hello everybody! We’ve got a few announcements for our upcoming event, as well as some general bookkeeping.

First, the next event will be beginning in one week on Saturday the 24th at midnight EST. The initial event will include a visit from some old… friends, let’s say. This is a major plot event. It will run for two weeks; the first week will be general reaction and investigation and the second will be larger logs. The logs will involve combat, but we are also going to open an option for the more analytic or diplomatically minded among you who might wish to stay in Union. This is a bit experimental so bear with us while we iron out the kinks, but those staying behind will be analyzing data and information for those in the field to utilize in order to prevent a bad ending to the event overall.

In the interest of workload, we are going to be asking players to form up into groups of 4-6 for the combat logs. As always, we will include a randomizer option for those that need or prefer that.

On a related note, we are adding a few new members to our team. While we are generally happy with the three moderator core team, we’ve found ourselves getting stretched a bit thin during larger events. As such, Brantron and Ax have agreed to assist with running NPCs. While they won’t be doing any game moderation, during events they will be running NPCs for some of the open logs as part of the event. We’ll probably look to bring on a few additional NPC helpers in order to keep a large enough team to keep everyone on a decent rotation and give us the capacity to really flex up if we’re doing something huge. Please congratulate them both and don’t go too hard on them as they learn the ins and outs of running NPCs!

Finally, in more unrelated news, we announced at the end of the Salvation event that Secret Bases were now open. We are now also going to add a new function. Players may, if desired, create a Secret Base entry in their personal journal which can be used for general interactions, including challenging each other to battles much as one would in the game. If you wish to use the Secret Base in this fashion, you must post a list of the active Pokemon and Enlightened (if applicable) that dwell within, as well as the level or week tally of all available fighters. Logs done in Secret Bases may be used for Activity Check, so long as they fulfill the other requirements (must include at least 3 comments from you, must have been made during the same Activity cycle, etc).
