Hey guys! A few announcements tonight about what's happening the next month:
Union is beginning to prepare for the Salvation holiday, which marks the day the Savior emerged and ended the war. Salvation is observed with the stringing of lights and festive decorations. Union citizens make a number of traditional (and often delicious) dishes and gifts throughout the month of December which they leave under a special shrine erected in honor of the Savior. The celebration culminates at the end of December with a feast that often lasts several days, with the offerings prepared for the shrine being consumed and the gifts exchanged among friends and family.
Salvation preparations are usually accompanied by somewhat kitschy music from about 20 years ago that everyone plays ad nauseum during the season even though most people secretly hate most of it.
The Salvation Season will last through the month of December, with the feast occurring in the final week. Additionally, there will be a small event beginning on the 20th that will end on the New Year. This event will generally be more low-key and open out of respect for players who have real life family obligations during this time.
In addition, the first snowfall will begin tonight, and light snow will continue through the month of December.
Finally, the Dream World is open this week. A minor modification to how this works: whether or not the Dream World is open will now randomly depend on the RNG. This week’s special Dream World Pokemon is Dragonite, with its Hidden Ability Multiscale, and the Egg Move Extreme Speed.
ETA: For those who were not around for the Dream World events, there is a FAQ question explaining the Dream World now.
