+1 Swimming Dork

kickboardsHello, BNW!! I'm Stark, a freshmeat player bringing you a freshmeat character to have fun with. His name's Rei Ryugazaki, from that anime that some people just know as that 'Gay Swimming Anime' -- Free!!
In his source canon, he's a 15 year old high school student who is all but coerced into transferring from the track team to the swim team...only to reveal after the fact that he doesn't really know how to swim! He's a top student and he can theorize his way around almost any problems...until he hits the point when theory and hard work just aren't going to do it anymore. He's also sort of grumpy, but he's really a giant dork underneath the tsun tsun.
For this game he's much the same, right down to even deciding to pursue this exploring the world with pokemon thing well after many of his peers. He's a Far from Ordinary trainer with the Analyst ability, and he's a water-type trainer who started with a Mantyke who somehow got to be called Tamago.
...oh, and he still can't swim.
If anyone is willing to help him not drown, let me know-- I can't wait to plot with you guys and get started with this game. You can find me on Plurk at starkxravingxmad, and I'm always available for plotting or chatting about almost anything.
