We've given the Enlightened abilities a bit of a facelift in order to update some of the older abilities that were created before the game started and the leveling system was fully fleshed out. They can be found
here.Noteworthy changes:
-Defined Master of Battle's ability more clearly so it's very apparent what they can do, which is mitigate or ignore resistances and take special advantage of typing.
-Master of Traning has always been a bit poorly designed. It was created before the level system was finalized and when the design philosophy for Enlightened abilities was somewhat nebulous. It was recently given the Move Tutor and Relearner ability, and now it's original core ability, which for storyline purposes was functionally meaningless, has been replaced with something that actually makes sense. Masters of Training now get an extra 4 levels to distribute every week.
-Master of Evolution's abilities were clearly defined with examples as to how they interact with various Pokémon, especially including the Stone Evolution Pokémon so the perk is never to be considered a disadvantage.
-Egg Master was given a slight upgrade so that they hatch Pokémon in a single week instead of two weeks. The ability to impart Egg Moves remains unchanged.
-Engineer was given a slight upgrade so that it now gains two charges of single-use items such as Fire Stones.
-Analysts were given a slight upgrade so that they now can tell what Pokémon are attuned to a Warp Band or what Pokémon is contained in a Pokéball.
-Shifters were explicitly given the capability to learn Egg moves and Tutor moves on their own at a rate of 1 per week.
All of these changes are effective as of this new week that just started, so no retroactively applying them. Consider the new facet of the Analyst, in particular, to be something that they are able to do now that they've encountered a Pokéball and have had some time to adjust.
