Helper Applications

As detailed here, we are opening applications for Helpers at this time. Please read that post for more details! But in short, we are asking for people who would be willing to help run wild Pokémon and player plots to officially help us out! This is how things will work:

Player Plots
We'll choose a certain number of people to be official Helpers. When a player plot is submitted, we will contact them with our scenarios and ask one of them to run the log, so that everyone who wanted to participate in the player plot can do so freely. The Helpers will also be free to help contribute ideas as to how the log should go.

Wild Pokémon
Whenever you roll for a Pokémon, you may contact one of our Helpers to NPC a thread with you. Of course, you are still free to ask your friends, but these people will be officially here to help you with your needs. If they are unable to run the thread, they can send you on to another Helper. There may come a time when all of our Helpers are busy; we apologize if this is the case, but we ask that you understand if it happens.

As an incentive, our Helpers will receive advance information on some of our events and plots and will have the opportunity to help craft the world as it evolves. If we ever want an extra mod entirely, we will also be picking one from amongst our Helpers.

If you are interested, please fill out the form below. You may also volunteer to only run Pokémon or to only run Player Plots. Helpers will be contacted and chosen within a week's time. We ask that you be generally familiar with Pokémon to be able to play out the bonding threads, and we ask that you generally have a good level of activity and are able to see threads to completion.

 HELLO!!!! my name is pam and i'm as fresh as you get

i'm bringing in another one of the characters from that one titan manga, petra ral!! in canon she's a kind gentle soul with a very unfortunate ending. in auverse, because i'm a terrible person, she's a phantump human shifter. like the lore, i imagine she's the spirit of a child that got lost in the forest and possessed a rotten treetump ! she's been a phantump for a long, long while and her human shifting only happened about five years ago. so she's still learning about human norms! in the beginning she could talk human before her shifterabilities appeared, so i imagine that if you got lost in her forest she'd help you out. because she's a sweet ghost. some michievious strikes, but she's mostly nice.

lately she's been spending her time in the city learning a lot about human culture, but she's gotten help from canonmate levi (unfortunate as he is, because petra sometimes does things like shift through walls/doors/people that are in the way because that is so much more efficient than walking around it).

she's a ranger, living in the city and helping pokemon and humans in her best ability!! pre-cr is much welcome, whether you're a person she's befriended, a person she helped out of the woods as a phantump, etc etc!!

Hello! I am Author X (or Axel), and I'll be bringing you only the freshest, most delinquent teen psychics. Or maybe just this one. He is the best one. (unless a Yuusuke shows up)

Kuwabara is from the series YuYu Hakusho, and he looks mean and acts tough but he's really kind of a sweetheart at heart. He has a soft spot for kittens and is maybe a little too willing to put himself in danger to save other people (often without considering the consequences). He'll be carrying around a very quiet and nervous Espurr on his back because I think that's adorable and makes me picture a tough guy toting around a koala backpack.

He's also a Fighting/Psychic Enlightened, a pokemon empath, and he can sense ghosts and psychic energy. He can also punch ghosts! Or just touch them when they're otherwise intangible. (on the other hand, his sensitivity can make him easier to possess than the average person).

Finally, he's an unmotivated and unsatisfied middle-school student, but the Earthquake incident has left Kuwabara thinking about how he'd rather do something more important or exciting, so if anyone wants to run into him or pull him into that, that would be great. I also set up an AU planning post here, and in particular he might know other students or ruffians or spiritual psychics (or not, I guess, it's a big city).

I'm coming off of a long haitus from RP (the idea of playing this doofus in this setting finally drew me back), so sorry if I'm rusty or take a while to get into it.

I only have a couple of players here on my plurk list, so anyone else can feel free to add me at authorx. I use it a lot for personal whining and meme-posting so be warned it won't just be RP, but I'm also completely willing to plot in comments, PMs, or over email.
