Event Wrapup

As of now, the Earthquake event is officially over. If your thread is still running, you may backtag through the next week to finish it up if you wish.

The following rewards are being issued for completion of the event.

-1 Egg containing any starter on the list for all active characters. The Egg will take 2 weeks to hatch and the hatched Pokemon will be Level 1. We'll roll to see if it's shiny and will only respond if it is.
-1 of the following items for any characters who participated in and completed a log in the Descent post. This applies to any location. If your log hasn't yet completed, you still have an additional week to finish it up. The available items are:
Leaf Stone
Fire Stone
Thunder Stone
Water Stone
Moon Stone
Metal Coat
Up-Grade
Protector
King's Rock

The following changes have additionally occurred over Union:

-The technology recovered from the machines has given us video capability for our Warp Bands. The video is black and white only, and it will take awhile to retrofit everyone's Warp Band to have it. New characters being introduced may be assumed to just recently been given video capability.
-The starting level for all new characters has been raised to 8, as have their starter Pokemon.
-In addition to a starter Pokemon, or two starters for Far from Ordinary characters, new characters may additionally begin with a single Common Pokemon from the Verdant Forest or Old City areas in the map. The FAQ has been updated to reflect the previous three changes.
-The technology from the machines is now in Union care, those who wish may run a player plot to analyze them further.
-The following TMs are now available to all members of Union, having been engineered from the recovered technology. If more machines are salvaged, more TMs will become available.

TM48: Round
-New items have become available on the Engineering page. The Engineer page will also now contain the list of all available TMs.
-A connection has been found between the Old City and the Iron Mines, Union now has a stable source of iron.
-Union has confirmed the existence of other human communities in the area, the new goal of the city is to find them and make contact.

With the changes and discoveries, a few new options have been opened up.
-Players may notice that they are starting to get additional information in their logs and additional player plots. We strongly encourage people to make use of the Information Collective to compile leads and clues.
-New characters may now be apped from smaller communities around Union without requiring prior coordination with the moderators (although it's still encouraged if you have some major ideas for a larger community).
-Players are encouraged to make use of the Breeding Center and the City of Union post to help flesh out the setting and add more Pokemon to the breeding rotation.
