Hello hello, BNW! I'm Erry, and I'll be bringing you that kid making faces over there on the right.

His name's Kariya Masaki, and he hails from Inazuma Eleven GO!, an adorable and ridiculous anime about how soccer is basically the most important thing ever. In canon, he's an orphan with some pretty severe trust issues after his family abandoned him, and in AU form he'll be...pretty much the same thing? Only instead of the orphanage shipping him off to play magical soccer, his Enlightened abilities have come out and he's still in the process of figuring out what to do with them. He knows he'd like to do something that gets him out and exploring (probably), but he'll just be starting on the road to that when he comes into the game.

Anyway, he's a snide and manipulative little shit underneath a sweet, innocent front. But also a pretty good kid, underneath that part, too? Basically he's a pain in the butt. And he'll be rocking it as a Dark / Grass type, with the Master of Trading perk and his Starter bro Seedot acorning it up with him.

Hello! I'm Chez, bringing you Sanae Hanekoma from The World Ends With You. He's Ghost/Psychic/Flying with God of War, and a Historian who works more closely with Delvers than most. Other hobbies include coffee, hugeass graffiti murals, being cheerfully casual and never really showing his badassery. Hey guys! I'm Cappy and I'll be bringing you Joshua Kiryu from The World Ends With You. He's a Psychic/Ghost type with a mischievous Litwick and spends most of his time irritating the shit out of working with the Delvers, though he's eager to get out of Union and start exploring. He can be kind of a snot and a huge pain in the ass, but he's not that horrible if you manage to tolerate him long enough to get to know him. Also, he's kind of technically dead. It's a weird situation.

Brave New World is now open!

As of right this moment, Brave New World is now open! For those of you wondering what comes next, here are a few things to check out:

-The first week has begun, you may now bond with Pokémon by commenting to this thread in the Map Post.

-With the opening of the game, we've posted a new AU Plotting Meme. Now that you've apped, things are more concrete so you can start making more concrete plans.

-Players are now encouraged to make their own plotting posts in the Plotting Community. Additionally, the Player Plot Request page is now open for business! Feel free to plan and request plots to get out there and start exploring! The Player Plot Post is designed to allow you all to start working out your plots, exploring, and even getting some rewards for taking part in the game while giving everyone the agency to help guide the plot in ways they would like to see it develop.

-As noted on the Plot Timeline, our first plot will begin on the 24th. However, the player base may instigate it earlier, depending on the actions they take.

-Swing by the Information Collective post! We've started it for you, but that's all we'll be doing officially as mods. This post is intended to be a catch-all post where players can post information of their discoveries and spread information among the rest of Union. All information there can be accessed by anybody within the city. This is for all of you to be able to track information as it comes up!

-As a small less related note, we've created a page for items currently available for Engineers to create.
