UPCOMING EVENTS AND HOLIDAYS
The following will be taking place over the month of August only, and may or may not be accompanied with a mod-run log. These include game-wide events, player plots and holidays celebrated around the map. Participation is encouraged but by no means required.

NIGHT TERRORS
Enlightened trainers of a Psychic disposition will find themselves starting to have ominous dreams starting on 8/1. These nightmares will spread to all Enlightened, Earthkin, Enhanced, etc. starting on 8/7. Early in the month, these dreams are of vague, shadowy figures and an overwhelming sense of fear, and these dreams will become more vivid as the month progresses until events come to a head on the 13th.

MEWTWO
August 13th - August 20th

Who is the mysterious Mewtwo and what has made him so upset? Could it have anything to do with the relationships between humans and Pokémon, or the dreams of a vague but terrifying destruction that have gripped the city all month? All will be revealed as a godike Pokémon who’s kept mostly to the shadows thus far will reveal himself - but for good or ill?

ONGOING EVENTS
These mini events have no active expiration date, and will continue until they are resolved, and may or may not have a lasting impact on the game as a whole. These mini-events can be initiated by any players in the game through a plot request (submitted here), and may garner the attention of an event-specific NPC, so be on guard!

WAR RECOVERY
The recovery and release of the Gigases and the ousting of the Emperor has opened a new chapter in the relations between Gigas and the Union Alliance, but the taste of war doesn’t fade so quickly. Players are encouraged to explore the aftermath of the war and the subsequent recovery efforts into their posts.

MAP EXPAND
With the recent signal expansion, there are still many areas yet to be explored! Trainers seeking new discoveries or experiences are encouraged to check them out!

CURRENT AREAS UNEXPLORED: Frozen Delta, Western Coast, The Great Crater

SWARM WATCH!
A swarm will appear in a location for two weeks. Pokémon in a swarm act as an Ultra Common to that area and scale with their level. Requests for a swarm Pokémon can be made in the Map Post for that particular week. Players are not required to make a post in the swarm area, but are highly encouraged. Shiny chaining does apply to swarms, and works the same way as in other areas. Swarm Pokémon are not eligible for blurbs and will follow the general behavior provided.

ABRA | UNION
Level 15
Sensing something ominous on the horizon, these timid pokemon can be found teleporting all over the place, seemingly agitated and even afraid of something only known to them. Trainers who bond with them will find that they’re nervous, clingy little creatures who are just as likely to hide under the nearest blanket or coat as they are to teleport away.

SEEL | TROPICAL ISLAND
Level 15
The end of the summer means a new season to come-- and the Seels have come out to play! It’s their mating season before the winter colds settle in, and the peppy pups are out looking for the lucky lad or lass who will do them the honor of being their love for at least the rest of the season. Playful and flirtatious, they are noted to be indiscriminate in who they make the target of their affections!
