UPCOMING EVENTS AND HOLIDAYS
The Thawing
May 1st - May 7th
With spring upon the land, Glacier has come alive with celebration. An ancient tradition called the Thawing is a three day long revel of the coming of spring. The date varies from year to year, due to the extreme temperatures and lengthy winters. A feast is spread out around the town and nearby hamlets, People and Pokemon alike dress in green and erect large poles. Young and single people of marriageable age dance around them, praying for blessings. There are contests and games as well. A mod-made mingle log will go up but it will primarily be a low-key log for unwinding after the major event..
ONGOING EVENTS
These mini events have no active expiration date, and will continue until they are resolved, and may or may not have a lasting impact on the game as a whole. These mini-events can be initiated by any players in the game through a plot request (submitted here), and may garner the attention of an event-specific NPC, so be on guard!
UNITED
After the attacks on Union, the city works to rebuild. Players are encouraged to incorporate this into their posts.
MAP EXPAND
With the recent signal expansion, there are still many areas yet to be explored! Trainers seeking new discoveries or experiences are encouraged to check them out!
CURRENT AREAS UNEXPLORED: Frozen Delta, Western Coast, The Great Crater
SWARM WATCH!A swarm will appear in a location for two weeks. Pokémon in a swarm act as an Ultra Common to that area and scale with their level. Requests for a swarm Pokémon can be made in the Map Post for that particular week. Players are not required to make a post in the swarm area, but are highly encouraged. Shiny chaining does apply to swarms, and works the same way as in other areas. Swarm Pokémon are not eligible for blurbs and will follow the general behavior provided.
FURFROU | GLACIER
Level 15
With spring here at last, the Furfrou are out to play in droves. Coming out of their winter holes, the Pokemon are extremely pleased to see everyone! Perhaps a little too pleased. They rush up and jump on any humans they can find, licking faces and yapping happily. They’ll even follow you home, too, if you show them too much affection.

BEEDRILL | SCORCHED FOREST
Level 10
Something has stirred up the local Beedrill in the Scorched Forest, and they are not happy about it. Scores of the huge bugs roam in packs, aggressively defending their territory, and attacking trainers that aren’t wary. They’re all seeming to be looking for a challenge, and even powerful trainers will find themselves attacked. And once defeated, the Beedrill demand to be trained, unwilling to take no for an answer!
