Honestly, the character you're most likely to get from me first is the OC, I think. She's a smith's daughter, so there's some common ground there. But I will totally toss all sorts of stuff your way. Much love.

My name's Jami and I play from dumb Japanese live-action kids shows aka Kamen Rider. I will likely be throwing my new guy at you since they're both Calderan. Are you interested in anything pre-established?

I would definitely be interested in pre-establishing something! Was your Calderan involved with the military at any point?

Yes, this is an excellent plan.

He wasn't in the military, but he was present on the battlefield as a photographer! So they could have met that way! He would have been around snapping pictures and then if things Got Real, he would have jumped in to help where he could.

They definitely could have! Thorin held a fairly high rank toward the end of the conflict and was there for a lot of Things Getting Real. He might even be something of a hero, which he's going to not talk about because he lost a lot of family fighting over the years.
So we have every reason to assume they've met! Even if I'm not sure they'd know each other terribly well.

Them knowing each other in passing is fine with me! If nothing else he probably heard the rumors of Thorin's victories and such. And I'll leave it up to you if you think Thorin would have known that Hayato went MIA sometime after they met.

I'll say he did! ...and then he'll be surprised to run into him in Union because people who go MIA while there's fighting going on don't often resurface as far as he's seen. How old is Hayato, by the by?

also if Thorin ever ends up having slightly protective moments over Hayato it's because he has two not!sonsnephews who are only a few years younger than him.

...Oh I am sure that will go wonderfully if Thorin ever finds out that he went missing because Gigas turned him into an Enhanced. He won't know what to do with protectiveness. He was an orphan. THIS IS VERY STRANGE TO HIM
