Some Pokémon Announcements!

Congratulations to Flynn for rolling the game's first shiny! We weren't sure when to expect this to happen, but we can say now that each request to bond will come with a small chance of the Pokémon coming in an unusual color. In case you aren't 100% familiar with Pokémon, information about shinies can be found here.

As a reminder, all characters may request to bond with a Pokémon once a week by filling out the form on the Map and Wild Pokemon post. We will throw up a new header thread for every week, midnight Friday going into Saturday. There will be no carry-overs between weeks - if you do not bond one week, you will lose that chance. As a side note, bonding will be performed as normal during the cavern player plot that is being initiated; we will accommodate the encounters to the actions occurring in the log.

Additionally, we would like to note that the Breeding Center is open for submissions at any time. Eggs that are not claimed will be left in the Breeding Center and may be used as starters for newly applied characters.

Finally, there have been a few questions in regards to leveling. Just to make things clear, we will not be micromanaging every player's levels, but as a general rule, 12 levels may be used per week and spread out over your character and your character's Pokémon; however, leveling up your character will require the use of 2 levels. We are also instituting a new guideline in that no character or Pokémon may reach a level above the highest Danger Level known +5. At this time, the highest level possible is therefore 26.

Thanks to everyone for a great start to the game! We hope you've all been enjoying it so far and we look forward to our first event coming the 24th (or sooner!) Feel free to ask questions below!
