Dream World Wrap-Up

Cresselia and Darkrai have reconciled and the normal status of the Dream World has been restored. The Dream Mist will lift from Union, and everyone trapped within the two labyrinths will find themselves being ejected back to wherever they last were.

In the coming weeks, with the blessing of the lunar duo, the Engineers of Union will be able to upgrade the Warp Bands to provide access to the Dream World; it is, however, usually barred from entry. The Dream World will be opened twice a month and the people of Union will be able to explore it much like they did during the event. However, the world of dreams will provide a strange power...

When exploring the Dream World, trainers will be able to do one of two things:

1. They may choose to intensively train one of their existing Pokemon. The fuzzy reality, however, means that their Pokemon's abilities might shift. Intensively training in the Dream World will cause one Pokemon's ability to change to their Hidden Ability.

2. They may choose to intensively search for a special Dream World Pokemon. Each month, a new Dream World Pokemon will be available for bonding; however, even with the Intensive Search, bonding is not a guarantee. Bonding will fail often, but with each repeated bonding attempt in the Dream World, the chance will increase. This will work much like the ability to intensively search to chain a shiny. Dream World Pokemon will often have special moves and abilities not found in wild Pokemon.

All participants in this event will be able to freely train for a Hidden Ability the next time the Dream World opens in addition to making another choice.

The Dream World will first open again in two weeks' time. In the meantime, it's still the Soulfasting, and there's some celebration to catch up on…

Additionally, unrelated to the event, we are introducing a simplified leveling system for those who don’t want to micromanage 30 Pokemon and all of their levels. A new post to explain this system can be found here. Those who wish to use levels normally may continue to do so.
