Event End OoC

As of now, the Gigas invasion of Caldera event has now concluded. We will still be wrapping up some threads over the course of the weekend, but with Union bolstering Caldera, they are now safe - at least for now.

In gratitude, Caldera and Union have cemented an alliance. Caldera is now an open city, a second hub for characters to visit and work out of. With the addition of Caldera, we are now opening apps to citizens of Caldera, and will fill out some information about the city, it’s culture, and the sights and attractions within the next few weeks.

Being a city of craftsmen, Caldera is sharing their resources and skills with Union. All active characters will gain two evolution items. These can be selected from the Engineered Items list. Additionally, we will be adding the following items to the Engineered Items list, in light of the new technology access:

Razor Claw
Prism Scale
Sun Stone
Dusk Stone
Dawn Stone
Shiny Stone
Moon Stone

Additionally, the creation of Enhanced Items has increased, they may now be imbued with two different types. If desired, you may exchange one or both of your items for an Enhanced Item instead.

Finally, those who participated actively in logs will be eligible for additional rewards. The criteria for these rewards is having finished a log and having made at least 2 tags in that log yourself. Representatives from the log may post them below to gain rewards for all of the participants. If the log is partially completed and doesn’t wrap up by the end of the weekend, please feel free to post them anyway - we may dole out smaller rewards based on what was accomplished

Eren's going to skip out on evolution items in favor of having his swords imbued with Water and Ground type. One water, one ground! Then his blades will be Water/Steel and Ground/Steel.

For his involvement in the log, Eren will receive a the large fang of a dragon. A Dragon Fang, if you will.

Grabbing a Razor Claw and Metal Coat for Ogami.

Nero will be grabbing a Razor Claw and a Moon Stone for himself. Because ONE DAY Blue Rose will thank him for making her a queen.

Before destroying the caravan, Setsuna will have found 3 Guru's Wisdoms inside to use on her Pokemon as she wishes. She may also give these to others if she's generous.

Additionally, she may bond with one of the Reuniclus if she so pleases. If she wishes to keep it, respond here and I'll give you stats.

Jinxie will be getting a Dusk Stone and a Water Stone.

For her role in an important maneuver that greatly disrupted the Gigas army, the Calderans will present Jinxie with a cloak enhanced with the Ghost typing. When wearing it, it will auto-Protect the first attack that would strike her in a fight, and she will fade into intangibility. This will occur only once a battle and will activate regardless of whether or not she wants it to.

The Calderans didn't give her this, but Jinxie will also be able to take home a broken siege engine.

No seriously it's a broken piece of siege engine that her Rotom really really doesn't want to lose. This item will be called the Engine Core. When Rotom holds onto it, it will be Electric/Steel and will learn the move Flash Cannon. Weirdly enough, there is also now a new entry in the Engineered Items page.

Squid Girl will receive a soggy letter thanking her for her assistance written in pawprints. It will say that they don't have much to give, but Lotad found something shiny recently that she should have. She will receive a Miracle Water.

Ky, Morgiana, and Chie will receive a less soggy letter in a few weeks explaining that Florrie and her mother (Fiona) have found temporary lodgings with their relatives now. In gratitude, they will each receive a homemade lunch... Which will turn out to be much more useful than it sounds.

Merrill's reward will be taken care of by the person who took that thread.

Robin will be getting a Dusk Stone and a Fire Stone.

Roxas will forgo the Evolution stones and instead get two ~~Keyblades~~ Medium-length blades. One will have Fairy and the other Psychic as their typings (totally not related to one of his enlightened abilities what are you talking about).

He'll learn to use them. Eventually.

Involvement for Roxas here. The Blue ad Roxas one is finished but didn't get mod involvement so up to you guys.

I think I'll take a Thunderstone and a Enhanced Item for Aster--thinking a gun that he can channel electricity out of. And I guess we'll see about any additional rewards once the log he's in is finished!

Also posting This thread for Dhaos, Duke, and Hilda, as well, since neither of them have done so yet. However, it is unfinished. If no rewards, that's perfectly fine, but wanted to throw it up just in case!

Although no moderator tagged in as they never got to leaving Union, the thread was sufficient! During the search for supplies, Aster will find some strange Clay on the shores of the Lake Shrine.

As I'm not sure if Duke, Dhaos, or Hilda will be responding for rewards, they will find some strange moss, rocks, and sludge on the shores of the Lake Shrine as well. The four of you can swap around items if you'd like.

Jean will be getting a Shiny Stone for his new Flabebe and a Sun Stone. For Hans... Maybe I can have him get an Enhanced sword, with fire?

Additionally, I'm not sure how many/what benefits Hans is eligible for but I imagine the diplomacy thread is all but finished... will those additional bonuses be announced later, or does it just mean I can ask for more items?

Here's the link to the diplomacy thread, btw! I'm guessing this one counts too. Wouldn't mind finishing it, but I put it on the back burner as the event moved on. Let me know if I can handwave some interaction with Rory or something

For the Diplomacy thread, Hans will get an ornate breastplate hand-crafted by the finest artisans of Caldera. It is marked with his family's insignia boldly presented on the chest, and is imbued with the steel and psychic typing, making it effective against many physical attacks in addition to generating a psychic barrier that will further defend Hans from attack.

I don't have any finished log threads but two I'm involved in now we'll see how that changes I guess.

You didn't link it, but Melaka will receive a soggy letter thanking her for her assistance written in pawprints. It will say that they don't have much to give, but Pancham would like to give her a treasured keepsake. She will receive a Black Belt.

Taking a Razor Claw and Dusk Stone for Kanji. (Who will be very happy about the new goodies from Caldera.)

He was involved in the medical centre log, as well as one in progress with Lucas and Red, not sure if it counts for anything.

Braig'll be taking a Psychic-type Enhanced pistol, and ~~can I sit on his last pick?~~ a Dusk Stone for his Murkrow's future use. As he was only accepted during the event, no further goodies for him.

While the one in progress with Lucas and Red never received a mod tag, it's sufficient to count for something. In the Flower Grove, Kanji will find some strange roots while looking for supplies.

Tiki will take two enhanced items, two gems enhanced with Fire and Earth. She'll be able to use these gems once a battle to change one of her Dragon attacks to the corresponding element to match the Firestone and Earthstone she can use in canon.

While the log in progress never received a mod response, it's sufficient to count for something. Lucas will find a strange flower bulb while searching for supplies.

Pamela participated in the diplomatic negotiations. She also contributed to the food supply efforts by contacting Union about the problem and using her Enlightened abilities to speed up the growth of the limited crops within the city walls as she'd previously discussed with General Ironborn.

Pamela will forego the evolution items and instead take an enhanced sword imbued with the Leaf element and a Miracle Seed.

For the Diplomacy log Pamela will receive a Calderan Vulcanweave Vest. It's fabrics are specially woven with the Fire and Rock typing, making its wearer especially resistant to flame and fairly resistant to physical attacks.

Usagi was involved in the temple thread that had been listed above and will be getting a Sun Stone and a Moon Stone!

For the shrine log, Usagi will receive a blessing from ????????. This blessing will give her a free Intensive Search whenever she wishes.

Mari will take a Shiny Stone and a Dawn Stone, and Kisara will take a Prism Scale and a Razor Claw.

No finished logs for either, though Mari assisted in the Caldera medical tents, and Kisara in the Union center if that counts for anything.

As the log seems to have been abandoned, Mari will receive a modest set of healing items to help her with her work: 10 Max Potions consumed upon use.

Kisara's reward will be addressed by the mod taking that log.

Wukong is getting his trademark size changing staff as an enhanced item, as discussed. I'm not sure what kind of item this would count as.

Also, Blue has a thread started here but still on-going if it'll be worth anything.

Blue will receive a thank you note from the refugees she helped escort as well as a present for her cute Houndoom.

No completed logs for my characters, but I had one thread with Asemu (here) and two with Sanageyama (here and here).

When they are finished destroying the caravan, Asemu will salvage a bag full of 20 Mental Herbs that are consumed upon use. He may freely swap around rewards with the others in the same group.
