It's time for our activity check!

Activity consists of the following:
- Two threads that, combined, consist of 10 or more comments in a thread from your character, played off of two different characters; or
- A thread in a log post consisting of 10 or more comments from your character, played off of two different characters, not including Non-Player Characters (NPCs)
- Acceptable threads must contain at least 3 comments by the your character

Dates of activity posted must be from a time period consisting of dates between:
- The first day of the activity cycle month through the last day of the month; or
- The first day of the next month through the fourteenth day of the next month

Posts that count toward activity or half activity:
- Threads in an in character post posted to the main community consisting of at least 3 comments by the person posting activity
- Approved shop and/or organization threads or Secret Base threads posted in a character's journal may only be used for 5 of the required 10 comments.

Posts that do not count toward activity or half activity:
- In character contact post threads do not count toward monthly activity
- Pokemon catch-all threads do not count toward monthly activity
- Threads used in a previous activity check do not count toward monthly activity

A post made by your character no longer counts for activity. Do not link a post to AC. You must link two separate threads within the post itself that fulfill the requirements as listed above.

- If you do not post activity before October 8th, you will be warned. Warned characters have a further week to post activity.

- If you fail to post activity after being warned, your character will be removed from the game. For storyline purposes, they will be lost in the wilderness.

- If you have maximum slots (5 characters) and would like an additional slot, you may post double activity for ALL active characters in a single cycle to open up an extra slot. Subsequent activity cycles will not require any more than standard activity to maintain, but there is no limit to additional slots that may be acquired in such a fashion.

- If you have additional slots and one of your characters is ejected from the game in such a manner, you will lose slots based on the number of characters ejected, to a minimum of the standard 5.

- Characters who were accepted into the game within the last two weeks or who hiatused for more than 2 weeks of the month are exempt from activity. You may call hiatus for up to a month. You may hiatus for 2 months if you have special mod permission. You must post hiatus on our Hiatus page. Please simply post to check-in with these characters if you can.

- We have now implemented a strike system. If you find that you cannot make full activity for the month with one or more of your characters characters, you can take a strike for this month's activity. You need to post here requesting a strike, and you must pass the next two subsequent activity checks. You will not be permitted a hiatus for two months.

Important Note:
After discussion, we've decided to implement a change to our Activity Check system. Beginning with the Activity Check going up November 1st, our Warned List period will be changing to a period of 72 hours rather than a week. This has no bearing on the current Activity Check.

Hello! As noted in the AC rules, we require at least two threads totaling 10 comments for activity. Do you have another thread you can link?

aw crap, no I don't. I thought this was all I needed. Im sorry, I thought it meant just 10 comments total. No chance I can slide on this one, is there?

We'll accept this as a usage of a strike. Since it was so soon since your last strike (cleared as of September 1st activity), please try to stay on top of it next time, if this proves to be a pattern we will have to address it.
